Dr Silber at his desk

General outpatient neurology

In his clinics he sees patients with a variety of neurological conditions including:

  • Headaches, including the use of botulinum toxin (Botox) for chronic migraine
  • Dizziness, vertigo and unsteadiness
  • Seizures and fainting
  • Parkinson’s disease and tremors.

Acute neurology

Dr Silber provides care for patients with acute neurological emergencies. He works closely with colleagues in intensive care units assessing critically ill patients.

Palliative care

Dr Silber is the Neurologist on the National Council for Palliative Care’s working group on neurological conditions.

High altitude

He is also interested in the neurological problems (including headaches) that occur at high altitudes, and provided advice to inform the NHS guidelines on high altitude medicine.
